Like, She can't wake up her baby in the morning, she can't have Yummos with Purple Marshmallows. She can only have coffee, tea, yogurt, and bran flakes. The mom doing grocery, how the mom have a hard time saying good bye when she drops off her kid at daycare. The story is saying the opposite of what the mom is saying. She can do all of do stuff; like stay up all night. At the end of the story is said, " one thing that mom is bettter at than anyone else is to love you." I thought that was cute ending.
I think as a whole, the group did good. We knew what to do and how to get the kids involve. the first time through it would be nerve racking but to made it though day one. We got to know are reading partners, about their hobbies, if they have any subling, do they have any pets, when is their birthday, small talk.
The Story I read is about to tone, the kind, sweet, motherly voice. The story was funny, mallow, and loving.

Chapter 11, is what I chose to read. The title is called Beyond Stereotypes of Cops, this section of part 5 is bais. The story talk about how the job of an police officer is very important and a serious job. Some people think that police officer love to eat donuts and drink coffee all the time. The test they have to take to become a cop, how women are sterotypes. Most of all police officer want to keep the people safe. I picked Officer Buckle and Gloria, because it is related to police Officer.

The story is about Officer Buckle and his Gloria. At first he could not get the kids attention when he was telling the rules. So, one day he bought Gloria to the school, everyone started to pay attention, because she is was copying what the Officer was doing. The two of them together were a hit. One day, a tevelision cast televised Officer Buckle and Gloria telling the rules, when he got home Officer Buckle watched himself on T.V. he was not happy. People was not looking at him, they were looking at the dog. So, when it was time to go to another school to tell the rules he didn't go, because he was not happy. Only Gloria went, but she was not the same without her buddy. The two of them made up at the end.
The story was longer than the other one. It was fun to read it to my partner. I was excited to read, one of my partner wants to be a cop. so this is a good book for him. Safety tips is what the cop are good at, they want to keep people safe and out of danger. My partners like my story, that I read to them. This book wasn't bais, becuase that's what police officer would do, go to school and they them safety rules and how to be safe.

People who were walking by the street were staring at them. The lady was not afraid of him. He was the one that was afriad of her. It was getting late so she dicided to head back home, it was getting dark. She saw shoes, a pair of pants, a shirt, a tall black har and two white gloves. At the end she saw a pumpkin head. She wasn't afraid of those things. At the end she came with an idea that sense she isn't scared of them, they should stay outside to make a scared crow to scared away the crows.
It relates to the Langston Hughes story, the lady was afraid of the robber and the old lady wasn't afriad of the shirt, shoes, gloves, pants, the black hat, and the pumpkin who said, "boo, boo." The story time is dark and Halloween like. It was exciting. My readering partner felt comfortable towards me. It was not like the first day were they were all shy.

4. Introduction and Discovering Meaning through Structure

Picture
Having part 1 and 2 of the Reading and All That Jazz. The chapter is about music, part of the story is about music like Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong. To found the Main idea, Details, and the topic. I chose the Louis Armstrong story by Studs Terkel. It told the life story of Louis Armstrong. How his first instrument was the tambourine.
AUTHOR: Rafeal Lopez and Picture book by Pat Mora.
BOOK: Book Fiesta: Celebrate Children's Day/ Book Day
MATERIALS: the book, pens, the quiz, the vocabulary, and to be organized
             QUIZ/ANSWER:
The cover of the book is colorful: true
Wht are the four languages they read: English, Spanish, Chinese and Navajo.
They read to puppies and kittens and lizard: True
Do they read in a short submarine: true
Do they fly away with their book: true
The story is kind of base on a true story, because on June 30th people do celebrate Children Day. it was a joy to read the book. it taught me history, becuase I didn't know people celebrate books for children. The story was divided into two part; a Spanish part and a English . Since i don't know Spanish i read only in English. The story is kind of an imaginative. the you can read anywhere you want to read. You could read to your cat, dog, or you can have your family member tread to you. that waht thewhole story is about, the whole place in the world is your place to read.
